It’s a common problem with Gmail to fail with the login. Just in case you experience this, make sure your cookies are enabled in your browser and that JavaScript is enabled. Gmail is using cookies to persist your login session so that next time you come back, you don’t have to enter your user name and password again. If your browser cache is full it may interfere with Gmail’s features and performance. If your browser is showing a ‘Temporary Error (502)’ message this means that Gmail is temporarily unavailable but most chances are that this will resolve in a matter of minutes by itself.
